I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The room was not clean on arrival, which was especially frustrating given that I paid a lot of money for two nights. I raised the issue with reception and specifically asked for someone to clean the room. I even moved the chairs out of the way so the mess could be dealt with properly. However, when I returned later, I found that nothing had been cleaned and the room was still in the same state. I raised the matter again with reception, but their only response was “thank you for bringing it to our attention,” and no action was taken.

This was our first time at The Ardington Hotel, it is ideally situated in the centre of Worthing, close to the sea and all amenities. The bedroom was very clean and the large bed was very comfortable. The bathroom although dated was very clean and the shower worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the little cupboard by reception with toiletries in it for guests to access if they had forgotten anything was great. The breakfast selection was excellent and the two breakfasts I had at the property were delicious. The hotel bar was a lovely environment to sit and have a drink in prior to going out for the evening. I would highly recommend The Arrington to other travellers.
